Note: This extension serves as a secure wrapper only! It requires an account on https://myrealpin.com, where all content, such as for example uploaded images, will be stored and served. Access however can be restricted to your website only, as shown below!
1)
Download "myRealPin Extension for Joomla" and install the extension.

If not done already, create a new account on myrealpin.com.
Add a new pinboard and choose your design.

Open your pinboard and change the Access Level to "Friends"
Scroll to the bottom, search and add the "Guest" user to the list as shown below and adjust permissions, if desired!
Note: Checking 'Write' Access allows anonymous users to create new items on your pinboard!
Next, hit "Copy Link" to store your unique url to the clipboard:

Now, go to your Account settings, switch to Security and add your target domain as trusted site (multiple domains can be separated by comma):

Last but not least, go back to your Joomla site and create a new menu item.
Choose myRealPin und paste from clipboard to the URL field:

Save and test!
Troubleshooting:
Access denied! You are not authorized to access this resource.
Reason: Your pinboard is not configured properly for secure sharing. Please check and validate step 3, make sure to especially add the 'Guest' user.
Access denied! This domain is either not trusted or the pinboard has not been setup correctly for secure sharing!
Reason: Your pinboard is not configured properly for secure sharing. Please check and validate step 3 and 4! Especially your domain might not yet have been added to the trusted sites as part of the account settings (security measure, step 4). Must be the full qualified domain e.g. example.com
